Hello!  You may call me Miss Amy!  I’m a twenty-five-year-old graduate student pursuing an MLIS.  When I’m done, I’d like to work either as a children’s/YA librarian or as a K-12 school librarian.   I also work in a bookstore and spend a lot of time back in the kids’ section.

Between work, school, homework, and keeping up the house, I don’t have a huge amount of time to read for pleasure, but I try to fit it in!  In addition to children’s books and YA novels, I love weird tales, ghost stories, historical fiction, the Age of Sail, and the occasional classic.  When it comes to non-fiction, I’m fascinated by the history of popular culture, especially American television, film, and music.

This blog is for reviews of the books I read, as well as thoughts I have related to libraries, book stores, and books in general.
